2. If a string of keys does not work, the whole keyboard has to be replaced as the internal circuit of the motherboard has partially failed and it cannot be repaired.
3. In the cas of a single key not working, there is a possibility that it is a contact failure only and in the majority of cases can be successfuly fixed at a low cost without replacing the whole keyboard.
