iMac Hard drive (HDD) to Solid State Drive (SSD) upgrade

SSD is taking over the Hard Drive market at lightning speed and there is a reason for it.

If you can't take the speed of your laptop, Pc, MacBook or iMac anymore, this is the cheapest way you can increase the speed of your computer without having to spend a small fortune on purchasing a new laptop.

If your iMac is the earlier model that still has a DVD drive, you can add an SSD to it while keeping your old hard drive too, but DVD drive will have to be sacrificed (not that anyone will miss this obsolete device!)

This way you get to keep all your data in full and the new OS and apps, will be installed on the SSD.
